Guernsey is the Channel Island closest to the British mainland, yet its natural charm definitely makes it a unique slice of the world in its own right.
A holiday in Guernsey revolves around its beautiful surroundings, with plenty of things to see and do.
There are no hotel chains in Guernsey, just charming individual places to stay including boutique hotels and farmhouses all independently run with the focus on relaxation, comfort and good food.
Guernsey's capital, St Peter Port, is well worth a visit. Here you can wander the quaint cobbled streets visiting the shops, or take time out at its picturesque harbour.
Walkers are well catered for on the island, and the south coast boasts a cliff path that runs the whole length of its shores. Join the trail and see how far it takes you.
Guernsey is also the island from where you can take a ferry to the neighbouring islands of Herm and Sark, which make excellent day trips.
You can find out more about Guernsey, including attractions and local events on the VisitGuernsey website.
